Representing all the airmen and women who have perished in air operation or flight in Canada or serving Canada overseas in missions abroad.
As many as 1,600 Canadian airman were killed during the First World War, over 17,000 airman were killed during the Second World War, over 500 in the Korean War and almost 1,000 Canadian airman were killed during the Cold War between 1949 - 1989.
We shall remember them.
